| 12.3 Complete Transformer Block Substation 35/10(6)kV

KTPB 35/10 (6) kV are intended for receiving, transforming and distributing electric energy of three-phase AC, 50 Hz at the rated voltage 35 kV.
Substations are designed as a quick-constructed block complex, not demanding constructing and grounding work, except the availability of flat site with the ground capable to sustain the unit pressure of the construction. All the equipment is assembled on rigid maintaining frames, which are constructed exactly upon the flat ground.
In case of non-enough maintaining ability of the ground as the foundation some road slabs can be used.
In general KTPB, containing the equipment of 110, 6(10) kV voltage consist of the following parts:
a) frame of 110kV module;
b) units with electric equipment and apparatus, bus installing with common substation command post110kV;
c) factory-assembled switch gears for outdoor construction close switch gears-6kV of Ê-98Ê temperate-cold climate1 series;
d) brackets, elements of bus installing for connecting factory-assembled switch gears with power transformer;
e) elements and units for outdoor illumination, repair barriers of units 110kV;
f) set of brackets and metal shoots of pendent cable constructions for laying the checking cable in common substation command post110kV;
g) ground cable constructions;
h) frame of power transformer with oil-receivers;
i) substation fence;
j) element of common substation command post building.
- high reliability at the expense of using standardized components and equipment as well as pedestal bushing insulators fitted with ribs of high tracking resistance.
The following is provided in KTPB:
- mechanical interlocking devices;
- electromagnetic interlocking devices of switching equipment;
- interlocking of individual gears of bus and line isolators with switch 10kV.

- KTPB are intended for installation outdoors with the altitude above sea level not over 1000m and for operation under conditions in compliance with the design cold category of locating I in the atmosphere of II type according to GOST 15150-69 and GOST 15543. 1-89.
- KTPB are intended for perception maximum wind loading in compliance with climatic region IV of the wind and ice loading in compliance with region IV of the ice as well as climatic factors in combinations according to rules of operating electrical equipment.
